NOVEL |
Students will be required to read at least two novels each nine weeks. They will take an Accelerated Reader test on their novel. That grade will be recorded in the grade book. The first novel will be due before progress reports are sent home. The second novel will be due before report cards are sent home. Students have the opportunity to read more than two books. If they are unhappy with their AR score on their novel, they may read another book and take the AR test on it. I will take the highest two AR tests for each nine weeks. Students may read as many of the books from this list as they like. These books will all be available in the classroom for students to check out. You may search for the novel on our school's Accelerated Reading list or through Destiny, our online library card catalog, to find more information about each novel.
